Creating Web Pages

It’s time to get some content on your web site. Click the “Locations” item in the Object CMS menu. Every page on your web site is termed a “Location”. You may create as many Locations as you like.

To add a new web page, click “Add Location” in the sub-menu on the left. Type the “Name” of the Location, which will be used by Object CMS to easily link to the Location in other areas. For example, when creating a Directory Menu Item, choose the Location Name from a drop-down menu instead of manually typing the URL. Next, type a Title, Description and Keywords for the Location; each being very important aspects of SEO. Under the “Layout” tab, choose the desired template for the page. Then, under the “Content Module” tab, choose “Pages”. This will open multi-lingual text areas (Russian, English and Italian) in which to type the content of the web page. You may choose a single language, or as many languages as you like, to add content for. When you are done, click “Submit” and the web page is complete.

All Locations may be easily edited by clicking the “View” option in the Object CMS submenu. Choose the “Edit” option next to the Location you wish to modify. You may also choose to “Delete” a Location from this area.

Each Location may have uniform template designs, or an individual template design. This is achieved by modifying the Blocks (see “Designing Your Web Site Layout > Blocks”) for each Location. To do so, click “View Blocks” on the left menu. Here you will be able to manage the content and imagery for each block in an individual Location. Select a Location from the list to view/edit all available blocks. You may also choose to keep the uniform “default” design of all Blocks, maintaining a consistent theme on all pages.
